GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON USING OUR FCL SEA FREIGHT CONTRACT RATES:

  • Contract rates can an be offered to professional international transportation companies only. I.e. licensed freight forwarders, NVOCCs and Customs Brokers. Inquiries from ship warehouses involved in cargo consolidation, professional international moving companies etc may be considered. 
     
  • Our service fee 7.99%/$89 minimum on top of our contract freight rates is added to totals in our online freight price calculator above. Click on the 'break down' link in a price rate obtained online to see that.
     
  • Upon your booking request and receipt the booking from us we will authorize you to work with a SSL used on your shipment directly.
     
  • PU containers (if not requested to us), customs formalities, AES filing, bill of lading instructions etc are your responsibilities. All additional charges (if any) that may appear due to lack of documents, roll-overs etc are on your account. Note: U.S. Customs is currently phasing-in a NO DOCUMENTS, NO LOAD procedure for ALL EXPORTS from the USA. Presentation of late documentation could result in your cargo not being loaded and/or penalties and fines. In some ports, Customs has begun enforcing this policy. Ocean carriers require at least 2 (two) business days to process documents to meet the currently required deadline of 48 hours prior to vessel sailing. Cargo rolled by the carrier for failure to comply will be rolled to a later vessel at the shipper's expense!
     
  • Payment terms 5 (five) calendar days since receipt from us SSL’s rated bill of lading. I.e. you must mail your check to us or wire transfer funds upon receipt the bill of lading. Otherwise penalties will apply.
