SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONSIn respect of dealing with a freight forwarder Shipping Instructions are substitute for a booking confirmation. Shipping Instructions contain information as in booking confirmation but presented in more comprehensive form. Regardless of format of Shipping Instructions it should provide at least the following information on your shipment: - A document No. and carrier’s Booking No.;
- Carrier’s ship terminal or agent contact information;
- Sailing details on the shipment, including:
-- ETD - Estimated Time of Departure -- ETA - Estimated Time of Arrival -- Vessel, Voyage, Routing
Shipping Instructions on IMPORT to the USA As an U.S. Freight Forwarder, in our shipping instructions on Import shipments, we typically refer shippers directly to a carrier’s agent in the country of origin where their shipment will be initiated. Then we work on the importer's behalf as soon as goods entered in the U.S. Commerce Zone. Scheduling Import shipments may take up to five working days from the day of booking. In certain circumstances it may take longer. The Online Shipping Instructions on EXPORT from the USA With Export from the USA, upon your booking request online, we e-mail you a link that contains complete Shipping Instructions generated specially for your shipment. Our online Shipping Instructions contain the following: - Our Reference No. and Carriers Booking No.;
- Carrier’s terminal address & phone number;
- Sailing details on your shipment, including:
-- ETD - Estimated Time of Departure -- ETA - Estimated Time of Arrival -- Vessel, Voyage, Routing - Link for printing your shipping labels;
- Links to fill out and submit your essential ship documents online, including:
-- Dock Receipt -- Valued Packing List -- Commercial Invoice (in general applies to commercial shipments only).
We will need at least one business day from the day of booking in order to schedule your shipment and e-mail the Shipping Instructions. For new customers time counts from the day of receiving funds on our security deposit request. IMPORTANT: You have to complete and submit all documents in the Shipping Instructions before your freight is delivered to the ship terminal |
